Born in Paris 1983, Thomas Duchene spent his first 6 years of his childhood on the Reunion island in the Indian Ocean. His first multicultural paradise island experience, where he enjoyed drawing, painting and sculpting with clay. At the age of 10, his parents moved to Belgium, where he attended different art classes, silk painting, photography, painting, drawing. After finishing a bachelor program at an international school in Brussels, he left home to study 3D animation and graphic design in the Beaux art Academie of Tournai in Belgium. At that time he discovered the underground music and free parties movement between Belgium and France. A few years later he discovered the psychedelic music culture. Eventually he moved to Finland to work as a cook and stage builder, while furthering his artistic interests. In 2007 he moves to Berlin and start organizing painting jam session with friend and artist Neil Gibson, and from these collaborations, the Friends of the Fractal Foundation is born. Back in France, he is contracted by Anonymous Substance deco for some graphical help, resulting in the creation of five large stage design and construction projects for World People productions in the south of France. This gave him the opportunity to build and design his first main stage and display it at the Indian Rhythm Festival. All his experience and projects brought him back to Belgium where he actively participate in ARTSQUATs projects and RESISTANCE, with Bomshankar (Belgium) and the Lost Theory Festival. In the summer 2016 he gets invited at Boom festival to display his 10 years result of personal graphical research among the different crews he has been working in the past years like the Quantum Tribe and to meet all his mentors at the visionary gallery. On the road he meets Jonathan west and the Psychedelic Dream Temple.
